Each guestroom, adorned with deep blue and green, features floor-to-ceiling windows, distinctive furnishings and of course, the Heavenly Bed®. Windows open, allowing access to fresh air whether you are at the desk surfing on a High Speed Internet connection, or sitting back enjoying an in-room movie on our 37-inch LCD TV. Each room features iron and ironing board, coffee/tea maker, bathrobe, hairdryer and the Heavenly Shower/Bath®.

The Hotel will offer a complimentary guest room for the bride and groom on the night of the wedding for weddings of 60 people or more.

final attendance guarantee & event details
To ensure a quality experience for you and your guests, we will send you Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) confirming the estimated number of guests, menu, banquet room setup, and any pertinent details that will ensure a successful event. We ask that you make any corrections and sign and return the BEOs by a specific date, which will indicate that you agree that all the information outlined in the BEOs is correct. We ask for a final guarantee of the number of attendees no later than (3) three business days prior to the event. Please note that once the guarantee has been provided, the numbers may increase but not decrease. If you guaranteed attendance increases by more than 5% less than 48 hours prior to your event, the hotel reserves the right to charge a 10% surcharge on menu prices due to increased costs incurred.
If the guarantee is not received, the number of person indicated in the BEO will become the guarantee. The terms, conditions and guarantees of the BEO signed by you supersede and amend any previously contracted minimum revenue if the BEO increases the minimum provided for in the contract.


pricing/taxes/service charge & labour charges
All food & beverage is subject to a 16% service charge. Please note that the service charge is taxable. Additional  labour charges may apply for additional services requested, such as bartenders and/or cashiers.

wine & liquor
At your wedding, we can operate a host or cash bar as per your request. Should you wish, we could arrange to have wines not included on our wine list brought in for your event as long as you are committed to purchasing a specific case order for the item. Selections from our regular wine list will be charged on a consumption basis.

Under our liquor license, all alcoholic beverages served at your event must be purchased via The Westin Wall Centre, Vancouver Airport.

For all bars, a $300 minimum revenue is required per bar to forego a labour charge of $100 per bar. The hotel reserves the right to set up 1 bar per 100 guests.

wedding cake
Although our policy is for all Food & Beverage to be supplied exclusively by The Westin Wall Centre, wedding cakes are an exception as each bride may have a specific type of cake which they would like to have on their special day. The charge for cake cutting and plating is $2.50 per guest.

decorating
Our basic décor package does not include table centerpieces, specialty linens or chair covers. We will be happy to make recommendations or work with your decorator directly. The use of nails, staples, glue or any like material is not permitted on any walls, doors, posts, or ceiling at The Westin Wall Centre.

Chris Chernoff Photography is built on a foundation of professional service and focuses on an unobtrusive approach to wedding photography.

music
You can make arrangements for your own DJ or live band for your wedding. The Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) requires a license for each day of an event where music will be played.

deposit requirements
A 10% deposit is required upon signing of the contract. A second deposit of 50% is due 30 days prior to the event, and the remaining balance 7 days prior to the event. Your Catering Manager will be working with you to tabulate your deposit requirements. All deposits are payable by cash, credit card, or certified cheque. We also require a credit card guarantee for any outstanding balance of the event.
